Missions at Woodlands Presbyterian
Woodlands Presbyterian Church focuses on six ongoing mission projects. Our missions are not limited to these six, but we give monthly to help their budget planning for the year. A spokesperson from these ministries speaks at a Worship service at least once a year.
Potter's Clay
Potter's Clay Ministries, Inc. was founded in 1984 as an outreach to women and children in crisis. We provide food, clothing, and shelter to our clients. Most importantly, we present the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the answer to all of life's problems. Contact: Mia Terrell
Samaritan Ministries of Hot Springs
Samaritan Ministries of Hot Springs was formed in 2003 as an Arkansas non-profit organization. They raised funds to acquire, renovate, equip, and transform an old 10,000 s.f. Warehouse into a Christian-based Rescue Mission for homeless men. Contact: Chuck Blandford
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
The mission of FCA is to seek to make disciples through methods of engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. Contact: Debbie Meagher
Firefall International
Firefall International invests in mentoring relationships with national leaders — spiritual sons and daughters making sons and daughters, providing resources for creative outreach to transform communities by addressing their areas of need, both physical and spiritual. Contact: Vi Berry
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child, is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. Each year we begin collecting items for the Christmas boxes 6 months in advance. In early November, there’s a Packing Party to assemble the boxes. It’s a time of fellowship and prayer to think of the children in faraway places that might be touched by the Holy Spirit as a result of loving hands. In 2023, Woodlands donated 210 boxes.
